Samantha Szeki Boggs, 2026 Husky 100 honoree

2026 Husky 100 honoree Samantha Szeki Boggs was drawn to major in Electrical Engineering for its hands-on work and problem solving focus.

From handling electrical projects with her dad to working at an instant oil change shop, Boggs learned that she was interested in doing practical work.

Boggs combined her experience with engineering to get involved on campus. She started taking Electric Circuits Lab and Power System Fundamentals classes, served as radio station manager for UW Bothell’s UWAVE radio and joined the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers chapter on campus.
