Dual-major student turns passion into real-world experience
Joseph Gacula, a senior majoring in Media & Communication Studies and in Applied Computing, has made the most of his time at UW Bothell by exploring his passions and gaining real-world experience.
From graphic design and filmmaking to game development and programming, Gacula has leveraged his diverse interests and skills to pursue work opportunities on campus and through internships with industry.
The Applied Computing bachelor’s degree encourages students to apply their computing expertise alongside a second disciple, preparing them to solve challenges in a technology-driven world where computing knowledge is needed across nearly every profession.
