Meet the Staff

Group Fitness Instructors (GFI) plan, lead, and facilitate group fitness classes for the ARC at the Fitness Center. They create an inclusive and welcoming environment by providing options for all skill levels and help participants reach their fitness and wellness goals.

Aurelie

Aurelie is a first-year student at University of Washington Bothell and is majoring in Law Economics & Policy. They are passionate about physical training and appreciate the challenge it brings to grow as a person and wants others to have that opportunity and enjoyment. Aurelie is ACE Group Fitness Instructor certified and currently teaches Yoga, Dance Cardio, Total Body Strength, and Pilates. Crow is her favorite yoga pose – it is a great challenge for balance and makes you feel strong.


Faith

Faith is a third-year transfer student at University of Washington Bothell studying Psychology. She is a Group Fitness Instructor because she loves to engage, collaborate, and connect with people who also enjoy dancing and creating a positive environment. Faith teaches Barre and Yoga Vinyasa Flow. Her favorite Ballet move is an arabesque because it makes them feel like a ballerina and it represents balance and strength.


Samantha

Samantha is a third year student at University of Washington Bothell and is a Business Admin major. She is a Group Fitness Instructor because she has been doing yoga for a long time and looked like a fun opportunity. Samantha is NETA Yoga Foundations Certified and teaches Yoga Vinyasa Flow and Yoga Restorative. Samantha’s favorite yoga pose is child’s pose because it’s very relaxing.
