Question: How to get access to ARC Fitness Center
Answer: On the ARC Lower Lever, participants can check-in using a student or government issued ID. Student workers can also assist in locker checkout, fitness equipment, or general assistance.
Question: How to check-in for a Group Fitness Class
Answer: After checking at the ARC Fitness Center check-in desk, participants can sign-in for classes outside of the ARC Fitness Studio 10 minutes prior to class starting. The door closes at the start of the class but late individuals have a 5 minute grace period before they will not be allowed to participate
Question: What determines class offerings?
Answer: The ARC attempts to provide various format that engages many interest and fitness levels. Classes are determined by instructor certifications, departmental preference, facility schedule, as well as participant recommendations.
Question: What type of dance is led by instructors?
Answer: Class focuses on a modern style of dance that can be described as a little mix of everything
Question: What type of dance will we focus on in classes?
Answer: Predetermined choreography with an infusion on of personal style and dance moves. Content is based off fitness standards, industry leaders, relevant creators, teacher preference, as well as participant recommendations.
Question: Who is eligible for a membership?
Answer: All active UW Bothell and Cascadia College students automatically have a membership for the ARC and the Fitness Center as a part of ARC Fee paid with standard student tuition.
Question: What does the membership include?
Answer: Access to the Group Fitness classess, Fitness Center, locker rooms, towels, as well as items from Check-out desk to be using in the building as well as the Sports & Recreation Complex (S&RC).
Question: Can I reserve the facility?
Answer: The Fitness Center is not reservable for individual or groups. However, the ARC Studio (SARC 040) is reservable through the 25 Live web portal. This space can be reserved Monday - Friday after 6:00pm.
