When Should I Arrive to Campus?
We strongly encourage you to ensure that you arrive to campus in time to attend the F1 Immigration Orientation and your other university orientation. If you are an undergraduate student, your university orientation is an Advising & Orientation (A&O). If you are a graduate student, your university orientation is your department orientation (please contact your department for details). The UW Bothell Academic Calendar is available here.
To enter the United States, you will need your UW Bothell I-20, valid passport, and valid F-1 visa. Do not attempt to enter the U.S. without these documents.
If you are arriving to the U.S. on an initial I-20, immigration regulations allow students on an F-1 visa to enter the United States up to 30 days before the program start date on your I-20. The program start date is typically the first official date of the quarter.
