Laptop and WiFi Hotspot Lending Program
The Student Technology Fee (STF) committee provides funding for the laptops and WiFi hotspots available for checkout. These Windows operating system laptops and hotspots were first made available for student checkout in March 2020. In June 2025, STF renewed the hotspot service with a revised distribution model. Hotspots are now distributed by referral, based on demonstrated financial need, rather than on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, STF has approved the purchase of new laptops, which will be made available to students through the checkout program in Fall 2025.
These resources are available for checkout at the IT Helpdesk, LB2-218 Second Floor, during our open hours.
