IT technology support hours

To best serve the campus community, UWB IT offers extended hours of support for phone, email, walk-ups, and equipment check-out during the first two weeks of each academic quarter. After the first two weeks, UWB IT will maintain the standard hours listed below.

UWB-IT is closed during University observed holidays. Additionally, we will be closed on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

Academic quarter support hours

Phone & email support

  • Special extended support hours for the first two weeks of each academic quarter:
    • Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
    • Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Standard academic quarter support hours:
    • Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 6:00 pm
    • Friday: 8am – 5pm
    • Saturday*: 8:30am – 5pm (starting October 7, 2023)

Walk-up support & equipment check-out

  • Standard academic quarter support hours:
    • Monday – Saturday*: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Special extended support hours for the first two weeks of each academic quarter:
    • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
    • Friday: 8am – 5pm
  • First Monday of every interim we will be open from 12pm – 4pm for equipment return only. If you need equipment and cannot make it to the scheduled service hours, contact the UWB-IT Helpdesk, and we will work with you on a solution.

*Please note, extended support hours are not offered on Saturdays. They maintain a standard schedule throughout each academic quarter.

Interim Break Service Hours

If you need to return equipment or request an in-person appointment during the interim break, please call (425) 352-3456 or email uwbit@uw.edu to schedule an appointment.

  • Equipment check-out is suspended during interim.
  • First Monday of every interim we will be open from 12pm – 4pm for equipment returns only.
