Power of the Pack: Digital Accessibility Starts with Us
University of Washington is taking significant steps to meet the ADA rule on digital accessibility and deadline, April 24, 2026. This requirement includes all digital IT, documents, presentations, videos, software, mobile apps, and academic course content. - New digital accessibility online training is available via Deque University to everyone with a UW NetID.
- UW-IT ATS webinar recording: Starting an Accessibility Journey: 5 Easy Tips.
- Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) celebration on May 15, UW-IT Accessible Technology Services is offering a series of free in-person and online presentations and workshops. The UW GAAD celebrations site has links to past celebrations and will also include information for 2025.
