International New Student Network
The International New Student Network at UW Bothell is a community in which information, support, and resources are provided for the first-year and transfer students who self-identify as being an international student. If you also identify with this network and like to join, feel free to contact the Network Leads by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are a number of resources available in the community and at the University of Washington Bothell for international students. We will host a network meeting at your Advising & Orientation, and a Network Reception during Welcome Week.
You will attend two mandatory orientations. The first is Advising and Orientation. This is where you meet your orientation leader and fellow classmates, meet with your academic advisor and select classes, and learn about university requirements and expectations of being a student. The second is the Immigration Orientation. Attendance is required for all new undergraduate and graduate International students. You will also complete a mandatory Immigration Check-in. Through interactive sessions with other UWB international students and your International Student Advisors, you will gain valuable insight and resources to help you be successful during your time at UW Bothell. You do not need to register for an Immigration Orientation. When you register and attend your Advising & Orientation session, you will also complete the Immigration Orientation on the same day.
