Transfer Autumn and Summer Admitted Students
The A&O Process will be available to Autumn and Summer Admit Transfer Students starting May 1st
Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Washington Bothell! We are excited to welcome you as the newest members of the UW Bothell community. After completing the Advising & Orientation process, we hope you will feel connected to the campus, know the resources and opportunities available to you, and be ready to register for classes.
Your Orientation Process
Step 1: Self-Paced Online Learning
Opens May 1st
Before registering for an Advising & Orientation (A&O) session, you’ll need to complete two required online courses:
Once both courses are complete, you’ll receive a registration link for your Advising & Orientation session to your UW Email within 5 business days.
Step 2: Advising & Orientation
At your A&O, you will build on the information you learned in UWB101, learn about campus resources, meet other new students, and connect with your academic advisor. Your A&O will take place online, using Zoom and will be approximately 7 hours, including several breaks.
Step 3: Class Registration
You will be able to register for classes after completing your Advising & Orientation session. Review these registration resources to get started.
Step 4: Transfer Academic Program Days
Transfer Academic Program days offer you an opportunity to make connections and learn more about your specific school and major.
Step 5: Welcome Week
Welcome Week will take place during the first week of Autumn quarter. There will be many programs and activities to help you enhance your Husky experience and further your connections on campus!
Technology Needs
For the best orientation experience, use a computer or tablet with internet and sound. Smartphones may limit your ability to fully participate. Be ready to engage in activities and take notes.
