International Student Services (ISS) is here to provide immigration advice and cultural adjustment assistance to new and current international students at the University of Washington Bothell. International students contribute global perspectives in our classrooms and on our campus, which promotes the University of Washington Bothell’s commitment to fostering a community of global learners. We believe a student body rich in diversity--culturally, socially, and economically--significantly contributes to a dynamic and vibrant learning community for all students.
News & Updates
I-94 Card Automation & Re-Entry Process Updates
Students should be aware that the paper-based I-94 card will no longer be issued at the Port of Entry. Instead, you will receive an electronic I-94 record, which can be obtained at www.cbp.gov/I94 . Further information is available from USCBP here.
In addition, USCBP is taking special attention to review an F1 student's immigration record at the Port of Entry. Thus, students are advised to ensure they have all required and updated immigration paperwork when traveling to the United States. Furthermore, be prepared to spend more time at the Port of Entry and allow extra time between connecting domestic flights.
