Audit Internship/Student Trainee

As an intern, you will have an opportunity to work as an audit team member, performing a variety of tasks to obtain experience in the practical application of accounting and auditing principles, and assisting in audits of the HHS programs. You will have the opportunity to be trained on key audit skills (e.g., develop audit programs, collect and analyze evidence, summarize audit results, conduct conferences, and prepare audit reports). You will also have the opportunity to learn to make recommendations to improve accounting systems, strengthen internal controls, and change legislation impacting HHS programs.
