National First-Generation College Celebration
The University of Washington Bothell proudly supports the experiences of first-generation students. For the eighth year, the campus, along with the rest of the UW campuses have joined colleges and universities throughout the nation to participate in the National First-Generation College Celebration on November 8, UW Bothell will be celebrating on November 5-6, 2025.
Led by the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) and the NASPA Center for First-Generation Student Success, the day is intended to celebrate the success and presence of first-generation college students, faculty and staff on campuses across the country.
UW Bothell has also been a First-Gen Forward campus for the past four years. This status is a recognition of our campus commitment to serving First Generation college students. Each year, our campus reapplies for this status and continues to receive this honorable designation!
