National First-Generation College Celebration

The University of Washington Bothell proudly supports the experiences of first-generation students. For the seventh year, the campus, along with the rest of the UW campuses have joined colleges and universities throughout the nation to participate in the National First-Generation College Celebration on November 8.

Led by the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) and the NASPA Center for First-Generation Student Success, the day is intended to celebrate the success and presence of first-generation college students, faculty and staff on campuses across the country.

UW Bothell has also been a First-Gen Forward campus for the past 3 years. This status is a recognition of our campus commitment to serving First Generation college students. Each year, our campus reapplies for this status and continues to receive this honorable designation!

Join our First-generation celebration November 6-8. All events are open-house style. Drop by when you can during event hours!
