    Theo Chocolate Factory Tour - Husky Adventure

This may not be Willy Wonka’s Candy Factory but it definitely is a tour you don’t want to miss! Join us on a private tour of the Theo Chocolate Factory. We will take a shuttle bus down to Seattle on Tuesday afternoon to enjoy the factory’s lovely one hour tour. For half the tour will listen to an intriguing presentation that will introduce us to the story of chocolate and provide us with abundant samples. Bike the Sammamish River Trail

Meet at Chase House

This intermediate cycling trip will introduce students to the bike trails around Lake Washington at a relaxed pace. Students will learn about bike fit, group riding etiquette and signals, and some of the local fauna and flora. This class is a great way for those considering getting more into biking to try it out on REI equipment. We will ride approximately 20-22 miles on a nearly flat route along the Sammamish River Trail system. Please be comfortable riding a bicycle in light traffic, but 95% of the ride will be on dedicated bicycle paths. Cost is $15. Register online at myarc.uwb.edu.

Fred Meyer will be hosting an exclusive late night shopping event just for UWB and Cascadia students, Faculty, and Staff. By coming to this this event, students, faculty, and staff get to save up to 20% while shopping for school supplies, furniture, and electronics. This event will start at 10:00 PM and will conclude at 12:00 AM midnight. Transportation will be provided with buses leaving every half an hour starting at 9:30 PM. You can also park at the store, if you have your own ride! Check in will start at 9:00 PM at Husky Village. Please be sure to bring your Husky/Cascadia ID. There will be a DJ, free food, and goodie bags! This is a huge event and should not be missed!!!

In partnership with the State of Washington and Cornerstone Medical Services we are providing FREE meningitis immunization AND subsidized Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) immunization  ($35). HPV causes cervical cancer in females and anal and oral cancers, and genital warts in both males and females.     Sammamish River Trail Bike - Husky Adventure

Departing from Campus

Pedal away as we bike from campus to Redmond, the bicycle capital of the Northwest! Take in the sights of the Woodinville valley around while enjoying a relaxing ride along the Sammamish River. Once in Redmond, we will stop for a bite to eat before heading back to campus. On this hadventure, you will explore the International District in Seattle. We will go on the "Get in Touch with Chinatown" historical tour with the Wing Luke Museum. After the tour, we will visit Uwajiimaya, a 35,000 square foot Asian specialty market and stop at the cafe for lunch. Transportation provided.     Intro to Kayak on Lake Washington

Meet at Chase House

We provide the boats and you bring the fun! Learn how to paddle a kayak on beautiful Lake Washington with expert instructors from REI Adventures. No experience is necessary! Transportation is provide from campus. Cost is $15. Register online at myarc.uwb.edu.
