Community engagement

Working with and for communities across Washington

The University of Washington Bothell is committed to reciprocal partnerships that contribute to the just and equitable development of the North Puget Sound region and Washington state. Our work with our students and community partners seeks to leverage our teaching and research in ways that increase the capacity of our region to identify and address local, national, and global challenges and opportunities.

Discover all the ways you can partner with us

UW Bothell invites external partners, from industry and nonprofits to government and community groups, to collaborate in ways that support student learning, faculty research and regional impact. Whether you’re posting internships, co-developing projects or joining public events, there are many opportunities to connect and contribute.

Recruit and connect with students

  • Post a job or internship. Whether you hope to hire a part-time or work-study student, or a new full-time employee, you can find the people you need at UW Bothell.
  • Attend a Career Fair to meet and recruit talent.
  • Host an engagement event. Lead a workshop, offer a site visit or hold a “meet the recruiter” session to showcase your company culture and career pathways.
  • Partner with student clubs to support leadership, career development, and real-world projects – from community outreach to consulting and hackathons. Explore clubs on GatherUWB.
  • Mentor a School of Business student through the Mentorship EDGE program.
  • Attend a quarterly STEM Symposium featuring student presentations — open to the public.
