Mentee of the Year Awards


Apply directly or nominate a student mentee for our inaugural Mentorship EDGE Mentee of the Year awards! The purpose of this award is to celebrate and showcase the dedication and achievements of our students.

Students are welcome to apply directly, or be nominated by someone else.

Amount and number of awards: Four students will be awarded a $500 tuition scholarship each.

Eligibility: Must be a currently enrolled student who has participated in the Mentorship EDGE program as a mentee.

Nomination Pillars

Nominations are evaluated on the following pillars. Please share examples of how mentee showed the following traits.

  1. Preparedness and Leadership

    Please share examples of how they demonstrated preparedness and leadership.

    For example,  did they take the initiative to schedule follow-up meetings promptly? Did they arrive on time and with an agenda? Did they engage with a clear intention to learn? Please share your own examples.
  2. Follow-Through and Persistence

    Please share examples of how they demonstrated follow-through and persistence.

    For example, how did the mentee apply their mentor’s coaching to propel their success? Or how did they persist despite hardships?
     
  3. Excellence and Service

    Please share examples of how they demonstrated excellence and service.

    For example, what were their goals, and did they achieve them with excellence? Or how did they act as a servant leader to assist others in achieving their goals?
