About the UW Bothell Website:
The website exceeds 9,000 pages.
It is run on Kentico, a content management system (CMS). UW Bothell has been using Kentico since 2009.
The website is supported by six professional staff, one student assistant and approximately 200 departmental web publishers.
See the CMS Access request page for information on how to request editing permissions in Kentico. Users must have a UWB Access Account and attend a Kentico training before receiving permissions to webpages from Primary Publishers.
The supervisor must submit a request to IT to have an Access Account created for the new user. For more information on UW Bothell Access Accounts, please visit IT's informational page here.
All Kentico users are required to attend a Kentico training session. The sessions are typically every other Friday, cover the basics of Kentico, and last approximately 1.5 hours. The next trainings will be offered on Friday April 22nd and Friday May 6th from 10:30AM to 12PM. To learn more about the trainings and to sign up for one, please visit the Kentico Training page here.
