The $68 million building accommodates more than 1,000 students and will increase the number of STEM graduates in the Puget Sound region. Discovery Hall is the first building to be constructed on the UW Bothell campus in 10 years.

Veterans Archway

UW Bothell has partnered with Cascadia College to build an Activities and Student Recreation Center – the second major student-led construction project within a three year period. This is a significant step as both institutions continue to support their students in enhancing their campus community while serving the needs of a growing student population.

Sarah Simonds Green Conservatory

The Sarah Simonds Green Conservatory (SSGC) was completed in the summer of 2013. This 2,800 square foot complex on the western edge of the wetlands houses a 1,600 square foot greenhouse, classroom, and support space for education, research, and public outreach. Surrounding the SSGC are raised beds for demonstration of native plantings and experimental plots, as well as facilities for raising native plants for the ongoing management of the wetlands.

Sports and Recreation Complex

The Sports and Recreation Complex is a 2.5 acre (100,000 square foot) complex including a shared soccer and softball field, tennis courts, a basketball court and a sand volley ball court. The Sports and Recreation Complex serves the existing student body by providing enhanced opportunities for students and recreational activities. Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., seven days a week.
