Distinguished Accomplishments Award
The Distinguished Accomplishments Award (DAA) by an Academic Affairs Staff Member/Team is presented each year to a UW Bothell Division of Academic Affairs Staff Member/Team in recognition of exemplary performance that enhances and supports the Division of Academic Affairs and advances the academic mission of the University of Washington Bothell.
Distinguished Partner Award
The Distinguished Partner Award (DPA) to Academic Affairs is presented each year to a UW Bothell Staff Member/Team from a unit outside of the Division of Academic Affairs in recognition of exemplary performance that enhances and supports the Division of Academic Affairs and advances the academic mission of the University of Washington Bothell.
Distinguished Research, Scholarship, & Creative Activities Award
The Distinguished Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity Award (DRSCA) is intended to recognize the significant scholarly and creative accomplishments of UW Bothell faculty. The DRSCA is presented each year to a UW Bothell faculty member in recognition of scholarly or creative achievement that exemplifies the standards of excellence required by the research-intensive education environment of University of Washington Bothell.
Distinguished Teaching Award
The Distinguished Teaching Award (DTA) is presented each year to a UW Bothell faculty member in recognition of teaching that richly exemplifies the high standards at the heart of the academic mission of the University of Washington Bothell.
Outstanding Community-Engaged Scholar Award
The Outstanding Community-Engaged Scholar Award (OCESA) recognizes impactful community-engaged scholarship by faculty at the University of Washington Bothell. UW Bothell defines community engagement as the collaboration between institutions of higher education and their larger communities (local, regional/state, national, global) for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity.
Outstanding Public Service Award
The Outstanding Public Service Award (OPSA) recognizes the many staff and faculty members who engage in service independent of their positions on campus. Aligned with the Carnegie Foundation’s purpose of community engagement, this award recognizes staff and faculty service efforts that address critical societal issues; contribute to an engaged citizenry; strengthen democratic values and civic responsibility; and contribute to the public good.
