10 years of (un)GALA: a night of community, celebration and impact

On March 6, the UW Bothell School of Business celebrated the 10th annual (un)GALA, bringing together alumni, staff, students, faculty and community partners for an evening of connection and impact.

Over the past 10 years, the (un)GALA has grown into a signature event for the School to celebrate the individuals and partnerships that contribute to and invest in student success. This year’s (un)GALA raised nearly $72,000 in support of scholarships, experiential learning and high-impact programs for UW Bothell business students.

The evening also recognized individuals and partners whose contributions have helped shape the School of Business community:

  • Alumni Philanthropy Award: George Lampe ’10, honored for his ongoing mentorship, leadership and support of student scholarships
  • Business Partner of the Year: Cascade Asset Management, recognized for long-standing collaboration and investment in student success
  • Distinguished Impact Award: Ron Tilden, senior lecturer emeritus, honored for his lasting contributions to the accounting program and student mentorship
