Pathways Week:

Our School of Business staff and faculty engaged with undecided students during the University’s Pathways Week, guiding them toward their academic and career goals. We were thrilled to welcome Irah Dizon and Michelle Carey from The Boeing Company, who shared invaluable insights with prospective students who are considering a Business major. Through personal anecdotes and professional expertise, they illustrated the transformative power of a business education at UW Bothell.

At our recent Careers in Business Pathways event pre-major students had the opportunity to explore the myriad of career paths unlocked by a Business degree from UW Bothell. Sophie Leroy, Associate Dean, shared about the options within the business school and the potential that a degree with UW Bothell Business unlocks. She shared student stories and advice to the prospective business students.
At the event, students engaged with advisors, had the opportunity to meet the Dean, and scored Business School swag. With over 40 attendees spanning various academic achievements and fields of interest, the event buzzed with excitement and networking opportunities for students.

Building Bridges with Boeing:

Our partnership with Boeing continues to flourish, thanks to the dedication of individuals like Michelle Carey, Director at Boeing. Together, we’re strengthening connections between academia and industry, ensuring our students are well-equipped for the challenges of tomorrow’s workforce. Michelle’s unwavering support has been instrumental in this endeavor, and we’re grateful for her partnership.
