Current tuition rates for Academic Year 2023-24 based on our 48-credit MSA program. Tuition rates for Academic Year 2024-25 will be approved summer 2024.
*One-time program fee is assessed in autumn quarter. A portion of this fee will be allocated to an annual graduation celebration dinner. Fees are subject to change.
Students may be required to complete an additional 4 credits of pre-term coursework prior to the start of autumn quarter.

Residency
To be classified or reclassified as a resident, for tuition and fee purposes, a student must establish a bona fide domicile in the state of Washington primarily for purposes other than educational for the period of one year immediately prior to classification as a resident.

Note your residency status on the Enrollment Confirmation Acknowledgment you received. If you are classified as a “nonresident” and you believe you qualify for resident status, you may apply for a change of status.
Financial Aid
The MS Accounting program at UW Bothell is fee-based. Learn more about fee-based degrees offered at the University of Washington. Please note that state and UW Employee tuition exemption programs do not apply.
Students in all fee-based programs, including this degree, are ineligible for the tuition exemption program, institutional tuition waivers or the Undergraduate/Graduate University Grant programs, including the Husky Promise program.
Some students, depending on financial status, may be eligible for Department of Education Loans, and are encouraged to start the free application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) as early as possible. Click here for information designed to help you in your financial aid research.

Scholarships
Because graduate scholarships and grant opportunities are generally more competitive than undergraduate scholarship opportunities, graduate students are encouraged to widely research for opportunities.
The UW Bothell School of Business offers a MSA-PCE Scholarship each year. Up to 15 students are selected for the scholarship, with amounts varying from $500 to $3,000. The scholarship deadline is in the fall, and current students be sent details on how to apply.

Employer Tuition Benefits
If your employer offers a tuition benefit for employees per calendar year, our 22-month program begins each September and takes place over 3 calendar years which may maximize your benefits. If your employer does not offer tuition reimbursement in its benefit package, consider inquiring if your company has employee development funds available per request. Inquiries are often made through human resources departments or individual supervisors.
