Admissions
Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration
The School of Business has implemented new admission criteria for the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration, effective for Winter 2027 admission and beyond. These updated criteria are designed to make the degree more accessible to students interested in pursuing a business education.
There are three pathways to admission into the BA in Business Administration program. The requirements and relevant admission resources for each pathway are outlined below. Students may apply as:
- A first-year student applying directly to UW Bothell from high school
- A current UW Bothell pre-major student
- A transfer student
Please note that admission requirements may vary depending on the applicant pathway.
Direct First Year Admit (DFA):
Apply as a Direct First-Year (DFA) student if any of the following statements describe you:
- You plan to enter UW Bothell after the summer of graduating from high school.
- You have earned college credits during your time in high school (through Running Start, College in the high school, Tech Prep, AP, and/or IB) and you plan to enter UW Bothell after the summer of graduating (regardless of how many college credits you have earned or will earn).
- You have never attended college since leaving high school (regardless of your age).
Students with a 3.0 GPA who apply to UWB upon graduating high school and who list Business Administration as their first-choice major and submit all required application components are admitted into the program.
