Director of UW Bothell Sponsored Research

Cindy Shirley

Cindy works with faculty and staff to manage proposals and awards. She is also the liaison between the University and sponsors. A Certified Research Administrator and UW Bothell OSP, she is here to assist in the wide-range aspects of research administration for UW Bothell. *UW Authorized signing official.

Grant Administrator

Kelsey Bolinger (she/her)

Kelsey works with Principal Investigators (PIs) on the pre-award process, managing proposal package submissions, with an emphasis on NSF proposals. Specializing in complex and campus infrastructure grants, Kelsey works with these groups on post-award processes including kick off/quarterly meetings, fiscal compliance, and other related services, while also involved with reviewing grant effort for compliance.

Budget Fiscal Analyst Lead

Leena Perera

Leena is a Fiscal Analyst focused on routing proposals to obtain approvals, award set up, and modification, subaward processes. To help PIs maintain post award compliance, she creates monthly reports to track their spending, answers post-award questions, and manages the spending approval process.
