IAS undergraduate students present their research at the 2021 Global Engagement Conference

IAS undergraduate students Katharina Brinschwitz and Sarah Ramirez presented their research, "Reimagining Global Education: How the High Impact Practice Model Can Decolonize International Engagement," at the 2021 Global Engagement Conference at UW Tacoma. You can view a video of their presentation below.

Ramirez and Brinschwitz have been working with IAS faculty members Ron Krabill and Ben Gardner on an undergraduate research project over this academic year. Their work together builds on their participation in the UW Bothell Global Scholars program run in the School of IAS.

The annual conference is open to all students from the University of Washington and area institutions. The conference is a dynamic space for global learning and community innovation exchange. Papers are selected based on their innovative solutions, depth of community engagement, and demonstrated understanding of global interdependency and interconnectedness.
