Front desk services

Welcome to the Residential Life front desk

The Residential Life front desk is located in Summit Hall 111. 

At the front desk we provide:

  • Mail & package services
  • Work orders assistance
  • Connection to Resident Directors & Capstone Management
  • Resource referral & general assistance

SUMMER – Monday-Friday
10:00-2:00 pm

ACADEMIC – Monday-Friday
9:00-5:00 pm

Closed weekends and all federal holidays

Mail & package information

All mail and packages are routed through UW Bothell’s central mail system.  The Residential Life Front Desk receives the mail and packages daily from central mail.  Packages are stored at the Res Life Front Desk, and you will receive an email from Residential Life when they are available for pick-up.

Please note that packages addressed incorrectly may be returned to sender.

Mail & Packages

All mail will be placed in your unit mail box, which can be accessed with your key. Package notifications will be emailed to you when they arrive at the desk.

Deliveries

Grocery deliveries or take-out food (like DoorDash or UberEats) need to meet you outside of Summit Hall.

Packages (perishable)

Packages from food and meal services, like Hello Fresh or Blue Apron, deliver through national mail carriers (i.e. UPS, FedEX, USPS) which have to go through the university mail center even if you use a unit address.  These national mail carriers are not able to deliver directly to units.  Please make sure those packages are scheduled for delivery between Monday-Wednesday to ensure you receive your package prior to the weekend.

Meet the 2023-2024 Community Assistant team! CAs provide friendly and useful desk reception services for the residence hall community and visitors to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive environment. Feel free to stop by our desk and say hello!
