Misha Mariam is joining the Management and Organization group as an assistant professor. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Foster School of Business, UW, Seattle, and is wrapping up her dissertation on the effects of supervisor communication style on employee performance and well-being. Misha's research examines how leader attributes, such as communication styles, personalities, and ideologies, affect employee, team level, and organizational outcomes.
Misha grew up in India and has lived in Seattle since 2015. She enjoys biking around the city to explore new places, experiences, and meeting people (these days, from a safe 6 feet distance).
