Freshman Information Sessions
UW Bothell welcomes prospective students and families to attend a Freshman Information Session. In this one hour presentation, you will learn about the application process, the first-year experience, degree programs, specialized support services, student life and more! Questions and answers and an optional Campus Tour will follow the presentation. Please check in for the Information Sessions at the Welcome Desk inside the front doors of UW-1.

Freshman Information Sessions are held on the following schedule (except holidays):
- Every Friday at 4:00 pm (September 1 - May 31)
- Every third Friday at 3:00 pm (June 1 - August 31)

Enjoy a guided tour of our beautiful campus and student housing! All tours are led by current students and last approximately one hour. Campus tours are open to the public and can accommodate large groups.

CAD (College Awareness Day
CAD is designed for first-generation and historically underrepresented high school students. The event is intended to better prepare students for a post-high school education by taking them through the admissions process while experiencing what it’s like to be a UW Bothell student. Interactive ice breakers, campus tours and a student panel are included in CAD.

RAIN (Reaching American Indian Nations)
RAIN is an event dedicated to students of American Indian, Alaskan Native and Native American backgrounds. Students will learn about higher education opportunities, campus programs and participate in cultural and educational workshops. The college admissions process, going on a tour of UW Bothell, meeting future classmates, and networking with community partners are designed to give students a better understanding of college life and the importance of education to the individual and their communities.

DALE (Día de Avanzando Latinos en Educación)
DALE is a high school conference dedicated to the advancement of first-generation Latinos and underrepresented high school students in higher education. DALE will provide students with a fun and informative day in the life as a UW Bothell student. Students will get a better understanding of what to expect at a four-year institution and be better prepared for the college admissions process as they visit the University and participate in ice breakers, campus tours, workshops, and interact with current UW Bothell students.
