Privately funded scholarships are essential to UW Bothell’s ability to be competitive in attracting talented, high-achieving students who help to set the bar for academic success. And, just as important, scholarships help to ensure that higher education remains accessible to all qualified students, an important tenet of our core values.

UW Bothell Alumni Scholarship


Established in 2007, this award provides financial assistance to undergraduate, graduate or certificate seeking students at the UW Bothell. Funds from alumni outreach events such as the Husky 5K and Husky viewing parties support this scholarship

Natalie K. Lang International Student Scholarship


Named for the late Natalie Kay Lang, an alumna of UW Bothell and dedicated student affairs professional on the campus for twelve years, this scholarship supports cultural and international exchange by helping international students cover tuition costs and honoring the significant contribution they make to our campus. Natalie was instrumental in developing a robust international student program at UW Bothell and was a champion of higher education access for all. Several of her siblings and her mother are also UW Bothell alumni.

Richard C. and Lois M. Worthington Endowed Scholarship


An endowment fund which provides financial assistance to UW Bothell undergraduate students.
Richard and Lois Worthington were UW Seattle grads and longtime Bothell residents who believed in the power of transformative education. Richard served on the UW Foundation Board and the Board of Regents, by appointment of the Governor, and was instrumental in the founding of the Bothell campus. After her husband’s death in 1995, Lois founded the Worthington Distinguished Scholars award to support faculty teaching and scholarship. She then founded the Worthington Endowed Scholarship to support undergraduate students, and in 2000 founded the Lois Worthington Endowment for Technology to encourage technology innovation on campus

UW Bothell Annual Scholarship


An annual scholarship fund that provides need-based scholarships for our UW Bothell students who show strong merit in their academic major.
