ASUWB President

What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

My main goal as President is to continue the momentum on reducing parking costs. Moreover, I plan to survey students to better understand the issues ASUWB should advocate for and create stronger feedback loops so students feel heard and connected.

What qualifications do you have for this position?

As the current Vice President of ASUWB, I understand how the organization runs and how to lead with accountability. I am ready to take initiative, advocate for difficult issues, and lead efforts that impact the wider UWB community.

What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

I want to create a more community-centered ASUWB, with more public forums, spaces, and events for students to share their opinions and concerns, so that we can advocate for all student voices and amplify the whole student voice as a university.

What qualifications do you have for this position?

I am currently a member of ASUWB, and I believe my position has prepared me for the role of president because I have interacted with the student body and worked to build community on our campus.

ASUWB Vice President

What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

As Vice President of ASUWB, I will propose and support policies that put the safety and security of students first, including keeping ICE out of UWB, challenging anti-DEI policies, and advocating for the unionization of student workers.

What qualifications do you have for this position?

Dedication and commitment to my peers through student activism and leadership positions that prioritize the welfare of students, including as President of Igniting Liberation Reading Club at UWB and various positions at my previous school.

What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

I will expand off-campus housing resources, advocate for a Bothell College Advisory Board, improve inclusive dining options, protect health and wellness services, and support Senate efforts to increase student representation and engagement.

What qualifications do you have for this position?

I bring student government experience, strong collaboration and leadership skills, and a deep understanding of student needs. I have worked with campus leadership, supported operations, and am committed to turning student voices into lasting action.

ASUWB Director of Finance

What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

As Director of Finance, I will prioritize a transparent, equitable, and accountable financial system by fostering communication on ASUWB financial decisions, supporting fair funding processes, and promoting awareness of financial resources.

What qualifications do you have for this position?

As a UWB alum and graduate student, I have built a strong connection to our campus community. My involvement across campus and volunteer work with Change Makers at UW reflect the accountability and student focus essential for the Director of Finance.

What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

As a part of ASUWB, i would like to foster trust, elevate student engagement and create responsible financial decisions based through the committees. I aim to ensure that the committees support clubs and events while putting students needs first.

What qualifications do you have for this position?

I bring a commitment to transparency & trust, attention to detail and great skills in budgeting and financial planning. I will collaborate with SAF and STF to ensure student funds benefit students/campus needs and make thoughtful financial decisions.

What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

I aim to secure and expand resources, reflect students’ values in our budget to directly benefit our education, collaborate with SAF to develop a proposal and with STF to bring opportunities for both committees to contribute to UWB’s success.

What qualifications do you have for this position?

Organizing community events. Served as a student lead at a public forum that analyzed the best candidate to be elected for the WA State Supreme Court. Served as a lead to launching a professional closet. Contributed to projects for budget analysis.

What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

I aim to advance financial transparency, ensure thoughtful and responsible use of student funds, expand support for initiatives that positively impact students, and build trust by managing student fees with integrity, accountability, and purpose.

    What qualifications do you have for this position?

    As a School of Business Senator and Vice Chair of the Finance Committee in ASUWB, I’ve worked on budgeting and funding decisions. As a CFA Research Challenge finalist, I’ve built strong analytical skills to manage student funds with accountability.

    ASUWB Director of Community Partnerships

    What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

    I want to strengthen connections between students and campus leadership by creating more opportunities, events, and partnerships that reflect real student needs and make ASUWB more accessible, inclusive, and impactful.

    What qualifications do you have for this position?

    I have experience in marketing, outreach, and coordinating events, along with working across teams in creative and professional settings. I’m passionate about connecting people, understanding student needs, and building meaningful partnerships.

    What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

    I want students to feel like they belong, not just exist. My goal is to strengthen student voice, improve access to resources, and build a more connected, supportive campus where no one has to navigate challenges alone.

    What qualifications do you have for this position?

    I am qualified through leadership, community engagement, and collaboration. As founder and President of SEASA and through work with organizations like the Wing Luke Museum and YouthCAN, I’ve built experience creating inclusive spaces and connections.

    What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

    I would like to focus on three major changes for my campaign. I believe that parking and dining on campus need significant reform, along with increasing awareness of the resources this campus offers.

    What qualifications do you have for this position?

    I’ve worked in the dining department for two years, I live on campus, and I’m a full-time student. I see campus life from multiple perspectives and understand what changes could make this community more convenient and supportive for everyone.

    ASUWB Director of Senate

    What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

    As Director of Senate, I will bring experienced and bold leadership to the ASUWB Board of Directors and will work to make the Student Senate an organization that actually represents students across campus. Our school, our future.

    What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

    Fresh eyes. Real experience. Together, we’ll build a student agenda focused on affordability, safety, your rights — and the issues that matter to you. Ambitious, grounded, built to deliver. Listen. Act. Advocate.

    What qualifications do you have for this position?

    SAF Committee Chair at UWB. 20+ years across nonprofit, tech, and media, ex-CEO of CARE Caucasus, member of CARE’s Exec Committee. Shaped legislative agendas across countries and regions. I navigate complex systems and turn advocacy into results.

    What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

    I want to advance affordability for all students by advocating for the protection of the Washington College Grant and for strengthening critical Health and Wellness Resources, so all UWB students can have the support that they need to succeed.

    What qualifications do you have for this position?

    As a current ASUWB Summit Hall Senator and team leader of the Tacoma Mayor’s Youth Commission lobbyists, I’ve proven I can organize advocates and bring real government change. I know how to lead, and I’ll bring that for the entire student body.

    What would you like to accomplish as a part of ASUWB?

    I want to make advocacy more accessible at UWB by connecting students to decision-makers and expanding civic engagement. I’ll work to ensure student voices shape policy on affordability, basic needs, and well-being.

    What qualifications do you have for this position?

    Student club leader, Huskies on the Hill lead, Civic Engagment Fellow (selected by Chancellor), YMCA youth leader, 2025 mid-term campaign strategist, and advocate for immigrant/refugee communities through House of Wisdom and Rural Americans United.
