Marketo

Marketo is a powerful program that produces beautiful, easy-to-assemble digital communications. Marketo replaces a previously used tool called Convio.  Marketo is administered and supported by the University of Washington Marketing & Communications. If you need Marketo help, please email mktohelp@uw.edu

Get access

To get access to Marketo for your unit, email the web team in the UW Bothell Advancement & External Relations office. You will be required to attend a four-hour training at the Seattle campus. Training and access to Marketo is currently limited to those who previously used Convio. Access for other users will  be delayed until early 2018.

Login into Marketo

Please note: Chrome is the only web browser that is compatible with Marketo.

How to log-in to Marketo

UW’s instance of Marketo uses the UW NetID to authenticate you. This means:

  • You must have DUO enabled. To sign up, please log into identity.uw.edu.
  • Access will be given once you have completed a Marketo training class.
  • Click the Run Marketo button to access and login into Marketo.

Cropping images for Marketo

Images in Marketo are preset. The templates are designed to be mobile-friendly and accessible. Hence, image sizes cannot be changed.

We have provided easy, step-by-step instructions on how to resize a photo using an online, free editor and the version of Photoshop that is installed on all UW Bothell computers.

Naming your files

In an effort to keep UW Bothell's folders, programs and images consistent and organized we have created a naming convention for all documents that get uploaded into the Marketo system.

Please follow these naming conventions prior to uploading an image.
