CARE Team
Mission statement
UW Bothell has expanded the role of the CARE team to create a “sole designation” model. This allows faculty, staff, parents and students the ability to contact all support services for students in one location. The goal is to create a user-friendly experience for our community while providing student support from the appropriate campus experts. We strive to provide private, proactive and supportive consultation, assessment, response, and education regarding students who may be in distress or at risk.
How to submit a report
- Review the 2025-2026 Purple Sheet for Supporting Students In Distress
- Review the 2022-2023 Annual Report for more information.
Designate who should receive the report:
- UW Bothell Student Emergency Award
- CARE Team
- UW Bothell Confidential Survivor Advocate
Academic Alerts are no longer made to the CARE Team. Please use EAB Navigate to submit any concerns regarding a student’s academic performance.
If you aren’t sure which to select, use the “CARE Team” option and the
CARE Team Chair will send notification or referral to the appropriate team.
Reports will be responded to within 1 – 3 business days*.
Note
Any reports directed to CARE team or the emergency fund mentioning sexual harassment, sexual violence, domestic violence, gender or sex-based discrimination or harassment fall under responsible reporting requirements to the Office of Civil Rights Investigations and Compliance.
Please only select Confidential Survivor Advocate (and do not select CARE/emergency fund on the same report) if you are seeking support for sexual harassment, sexual violence, domestic violence, gender or sex based discrimination or harassment.
