2026-2027 Signature Initiatives

Dawg Pack Scholars

A yearlong leadership and community-building program for second- and third-year students who identify as first-generation and Pell Grant eligible. Students participate in mentoring, one-on-one advising, leadership development, and a close-knit cohort experience designed to strengthen belonging, academic success, and civic leadership.

The Fabric of UW Bothell

Every member of our campus has a story.

The Fabric of UW Bothell is a storytelling and arts initiative that explores identity, migration, belonging, and community through dialogue, creative expression, public art, and storytelling. By sharing our lived experiences, we deepen understanding, celebrate our diverse community, and strengthen the connections that make UW Bothell unique.

Undocu Ally Training

Our Undocu & Migrant Student Ally Training helps faculty, staff, and students better support undocumented and migrant students. Participants learn about policies, campus resources, advocacy, and practical ways to create a more informed and welcoming campus. Faculty and staff sessions provide foundational knowledge and implementation strategies, while the student training helps participants understand their rights and discover meaningful ways to support their peers.

Moving Forward Together

Building belonging is ongoing work, and everyone has a role to play. Through dialogue, storytelling, relationship-building, and shared action, we’re creating a campus where people feel connected, valued, and empowered to contribute. We believe our differences strengthen our community. By learning from our history, listening to one another, and working together across our differences, we can build a UW Bothell where every student, faculty member, staff member, and community partner has the opportunity to belong and thrive.
