Melanie Malone’s EPA project featured in NAACP Environmental and Climate Justice letter to OMB

The NAACP Environmental and Climate Justice Center included Melanie Malone’s climate change and flooding grant on the Duwamish River in their comment to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The grant, research, and its benefits to the community surrounding the Duwamish River were highlighted as examples of the importance of protecting peer reviewed scientific research that is free from political interference. The comment is included on the OMB Public Submissions website, where it is available to download.

The EPA grant program that funded Malone’s project was also included in a letter that the Legal Defense Fund submitted.
