Alka Kurian awarded South Asia Center Course Development Grant

IAS faculty member Alka Kurian has been awarded a South Asia Center Course Development Grant. The grant awards Kurian awarded $2500 in summer salary for the development of a course titled: "Human Rights and Resistance – A Case of South Asia."

The successful development of this course will help the South Asia Studies program at the UW increase its capacity to deliver high-quality language and area studies training to students.
