Counseling Center

The Counseling Center provides mental health counseling services to students currently registered for classes at UWB or Cascadia College. If you have questions about classes or your major, please contact the appropriate Academic Advising office. If you have questions about applications to UW Bothell, please contact the Admissions office.

The Counseling Center has moved all services to Phone or Zoom video-counseling. No in-person counseling is being offered at this time.

Students who want to begin counseling services : For those students who have not met with a counselor, we are available to speak with you.  Call the Counseling Center at 425.352.3183 and schedule a Screening Appointment. The Screening Appointment will determine if all criteria for remote counseling are in place for you. These criteria include, but are not limited to, having a private place to speak with a counselor for 30 – 45 minutes, having the appropriate technology (phone, internet, computer, etc.), and having personal goals for counseling that fit with a remote counseling session. Call 425-352-3183 to schedule your 30-minute Screening Appointment.

If you are experiencing crisis / urgent concerns: The Counseling Center will continue to offer our “Drop-In Counseling”, now “Call-In Counseling” from  9:00 am to Noon and 1:00 – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday for Summer Quarter. Phone calls will last between 5 and 30 minutes depending on the need of the student. Call 425.352.3183 to speak with a counselor during our call-in hours.

If you have questions, please email us at or call 425.352.3183 to speak with the receptionist between 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (Noon) or 1:00 pm to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
