On January 19, the School of Nursing and Health Studies partnered with BOLD to host a conversation on Care, Compassion, and Community with June Altaras, Chief Officer at Swedish & MN alum, and our Dean, David Allen. Community Partner News: Verdant Healthier Community Conference
Register online now for the Verdant Healthier Community Conference, a full day conference on Monday, Feb. 29 at the Lynnwood Convention Center that will bring together several of the Puget Sound region’s leading experts in health, wellness and community building. Breakout sessions will cover: personal and family health, workplace and group health, and the health of the community as a whole. UW Bothell Names Swedish CEO 2015 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year
The University of Washington Bothell has named Swedish CEO June Altaras the 2015 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year. Each year, the university recognizes an alumnus who has exhibited distinguished professional achievements and outstanding community service.

NHS 2015 Graduating Class
The BSN program had the largest number of graduates (112 students) this year. This was the first graduating class for the new Heath Studies degree, with 29 new graduates. Our school continues to attract and facilitate the success of a high diversity of students.
