Chancellor’s Medal

The Chancellor’s Medal recognizes UW Bothell graduating students who have been a consistent source of inspiration for fellow students and faculty alike, having overcome significant obstacles or endured major challenges in order to complete their undergraduate, graduate or post-baccalaureate degree or certificate program.

Chancellor’s Student Civic Leadership Award

As a Washington Campus Coalition for the Public Good member institution, UW Bothell has the opportunity each year to recognize two outstanding student leaders with Student Civic Leadership Award. The Chancellor’s Student Civic Leadership Award recognizes students who are addressing critical issues on the UW Bothell campus and in their communities through civic engagement and social entrepreneurship.

Outstanding Community-Engaged Scholar Award

The Outstanding Community-Engaged Scholar Award recognizes impactful community-engaged scholarship by a UW Bothell faculty member. Community-engaged scholarship consists of teaching, research and creative practice, and/or service for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity.

Outstanding Public Service Award

The Outstanding Public Service Award recognizes a UW Bothell staff or faculty member who engages in service independent of their position on campus. Aligned with the Carnegie Foundation’s purpose of community engagement, this includes efforts that address critical societal issues; contribute to an engaged citizenry; strengthen democratic values and civic responsibility; and contribute to the public good.

President’s Medal

The President’s Medal is awarded to a graduating senior with the most distinguished academic record at UW Bothell, taking into consideration courses taken, honors and awards, research and publications, as well as plans after graduation.
