Voyager Middle School students talk college

One of my favorite new traditions of the academic year is my trip to Voyager Middle School to talk with the 7th grade students in Annamarie Jordan's class. Again this year, Annamarie had her students write letters to me, expressing their desire to attend college at UW Bothell.  Many of these students come from families where their parents didn't attend college. College probably isn't on their radar - until the day they walk in Annamarie's class.  From day one, it's a daily topic of conversation.

As you can see in the pictures, the boys and girls dressed up and came prepared with a lot of questions for me.  I know some of them will be Huskies someday, and we'll be ready when they need us.
