Current and former students may order official transcripts online. For all requests made on MyUW, transcripts will be mailed to the address provided or sent electronically.
The University of Washington now offers an official e-transcript. These transcripts can be ordered online on MyUW. The content of the official transcript is converted into a PDF document and delivered to the recipient via eSCRIP-SAFE®, the authorized delivery agent selected by the University of Washington.
E-transcripts are available only for students entering the University in 1983 to present.
If you need your official transcript notarized, you can not use e-transcript for delivery of your official transcript.
Although the University of Washington provides official e-transcripts, some recipients may require official paper transcripts. Please confirm that the recipient accepts official e-transcripts prior to submitting your transcript request.
Students may access unofficial transcripts on MyUW. Use your UW NetID and password to access MyUW.
The unofficial transcript is issued at no charge and you may request one per day.
Students can access self-service enrollment verification on MyUW, or order a certificate of enrollment from the Office of the Registrar.
Self-service enrollment verification (access through MyUW)
Order a certificate of enrollment from the Office of the Registrar
Note: The University of Washington only verifies enrollment once the quarter has begun. If you require a letter for scholarship or loan purposes to show that you are enrolled for a quarter that has not yet started, as long as you have already registered for courses for that future quarter, you may receive a Pre-Registration Certification. This will show that you are pre-registered for a future quarter at UW. To receive this certification, fill out the form above and indicate on the form you wish to receive a Pre-Registration Certification.
If you are a student who is newly admitted to UW, you will not be able to receive certification of your enrollment prior to the start of the quarter for which you have been admitted as the University of Washington only verifies enrollment once the quarter has begun.
My loan company needs proof that I am still in school. What should I do?
Verify the information that will be reported to the Clearinghouse on the self-service enrollment verification
. If you need a deferment form completed, bring it to the Office of the Registrar.
