Dr. Porselvi (Selvi) Linganathan is a chemistry instructor at the University of Washington Bothell with teaching experience in both India and the United States. She teaches CHEM 144, CHEM 154 and CHEM 164 laboratory courses, with a strong focus on hands-on learning that builds foundational skills in chemistry and supports student success in the laboratory. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Thiruvalluvar University, India, in materials chemistry with emphasis on organic and polymer-based electronic materials. Her academic expertise spans general chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry and analytical chemistry.
