Dr. Miguel Balzan is a mechanical engineer and academic specializing in thermal–fluid sciences, with a sustained record of research innovation and undergraduate engineering education across multiple international institutions. His scholarly work encompasses experimental and computational investigations in multiphase flows, droplet impact dynamics, rheology, and related transport phenomena, leading to peer‑reviewed publications, conference presentations, industry‑sponsored reports, and a granted U.S. patent. Complementing this research portfolio, he has developed and delivered rigorous, project‑based curricula in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and related areas, emphasizing conceptual understanding, analytical proficiency, and engagement with authentic engineering problems.
