Marina Moraiti, Ph.D. (she/her/hers)
Part-Time Lecturer (multiyear)
Dr. Marina Moraiti earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh. Her research was in numerical analysis and fluid dynamics. She also holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Crete with a focus on probability theory, stochastic processes, and mathematical finance, and a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Crete. Since autumn 2017, Moraiti has taught a variety of mathematics courses at the University of Washington Bothell ranging from Precalculus to Numerical Analysis. Prior to joining UW Bothell, she taught at the University of Pittsburgh and at Bellevue College.
