Madhu Rajanna
Part-time Lecturer
Madhu Rajanna is a product design leader, educator and wellness advocate with over 15 years of experience helping organizations create innovative, user-centered products and services. His professional experience spans global technology and financial organizations, including Microsoft, Amazon, LPL Financial where he has led product strategy, user experience design, research and digital transformation initiatives. As a part-time faculty member in the Department of Computing & Software Systems in the School of STEM at the University of Washington Bothell since 2023, Madhu teaches courses in User-Centered Design, Digital Thinking, Web Technologies and Capstone Project Development. He is passionate about bridging the gap between academia and industry by helping students develop practical skills in design thinking, product development, collaboration, leadership and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence. Beyond technology and education, Madhu is a certified breathwork and meditation instructor and has been teaching youth and adults since 2016. Through his work with the Non-Profits - Art of Living Foundation and International Association of Human Values, he helps individuals build resilience, focus, emotional well-being and self-awareness. He also serves as adviser for the SKY Campus Happiness Club at UW Bothell, supporting student well-being and community building. His current interests include human-centered AI, product innovation, career development, student success, mental well-being and creating learning experiences that empower individuals to thrive both professionally and personally.
