Associate Professor of Animal Behavior

Dr. Douglas Wacker is interested in the behavior of free-living vertebrates. Most recently, he has utilized field studies, behavioral analyses, and machine learning approaches to better understand vocal communication in American Crows and Common Ravens. He is also interested in aggressive territoriality and vocal communication in other local songbird species. He values partnering with undergraduates in this research.
