Bryan White, Ph.D. (He/him/his)
Acting Professor
Affiliate faculty, UW Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine
Dr. Bryan White believes students will remember more how you make them feel than specific concepts in the class. He loves teaching and seeing students get excited about all the science around them. His research interests are how mindfulness and breathing practices can reduce test anxiety and general anxiety in college-age students; how connecting science to the daily lives of students and fostering creativity in experimental design help students self-identify as scientists, especially women and those not traditionally represented in science. Although he has stepped down from my full-time teaching professor position, he feels grateful to still be able to interact with and learn from our UW Bothell students!
