Andrew Abian, M.S. (Any)
Assistant Teaching Professor
Andrew Abian received his M.S. in physics from the University of Washington, and B.S. in mathematics with a minor in physics from the University of Iowa. He has also studied French at the Sorbonne in Paris, and statistics at Columbia University in New York. Prior to teaching at UW Bothell, he taught both math and physics courses at various community colleges in the Seattle area, as well as in Austin, Texas. He has also worked as an actuarial analyst, software developer and bicycle mechanic. Andrew currently teaches undergraduate mathematics courses ranging from Pre-Algebra to Differential Equations and Matrix Algebra. He has also led six editions of a month-long UW Study Abroad program to Europe.
