Dr. Faisal Ahmed is an part-time faculty member at the University of Washington Bothell and a principal applied scientist at Oracle. His work focuses on multimodal and generative AI, including image and video generation, vision-language modeling and large-scale machine learning systems. Previously, he spent more than a decade at Microsoft working on generative AI, multimodal learning, video understanding and applied machine learning across Microsoft GenAI, Cognitive Services and Microsoft Research. His research and engineering experience spans both foundational models and real-world AI systems.
