UW Bothell/Cascadia College STEM4 Academic Building
The project will build a new STEM academic facility consisting of classrooms, class labs, collaborative faculty offices and student collaboration space that provides a learning environment that inspires students and supports faculty collaboration between University of Washington - Bothell (UWB) and Cascadia College (CC). The project will provide the opportunity to create seamless academic pathways, research opportunities, and project learning experiences for students and as a combined facility, holds the additional objectives of developing and managing the facility in an integrated, fluid and sustainable manner that serves as a local and national model.
UW Bothell Husky Village Student Housing Redevelopment
The Husky Village Redevelopment project is located on the south side of Beardslee Boulevard, extending between 110th Avenue NE and 108th Avenue NE. The project includes the demolition of the existing University of Washington Bothell (UW Bothell) Husky Village apartment buildings and redevelopment of student housing accommodations for more than 1,000 student beds via traditional, apartment-style and suite-style student housing configurations, including apartments for full-time residential director staff.
The proposed project includes three (3) residential mixed-use buildings, with ground floor office space, and one (1) standalone dining hall building:
- Building A Residence Hall will house first-year students in units that are mostly double rooms with private baths. The lower two floors will provide office space for University administrative staff and student services.
- Building B Suites will be a transitional building primarily for sophomore and incoming transfer students in suite-style quad units with private or semi-private bedrooms, private bathrooms, and a small living space. The ground floor will include office space for property management and residential life services.
- Building C Apartments will accommodate upper-class undergraduate students and graduate students in quad units with private and semi-private bedrooms, private bathrooms, kitchen, and living space. Approximately one-half of the ground floor will provide office space for University administrative staff and student services.
- Building D Dining Hall will be open to all UW Bothell and Cascadia College students, faculty and staff and their guests. It will include a variety of food stations and points of sale.
