UW IT Digital Accessibility Liaisons
The ADA Digital Accessibility Initiative is a partnership between Compliance Services, the Provost’s Office, and UW-IT that formed out of the Office of the ADA Coordinator’s Digital Accessibility Task Force for the tri-campus. One of the ways to strengthen our university efforts in this area is via the UW Digital Accessibility Liaisons, who:
- communicate online (via ITAccessliaisons@uw.edu) and also meet with the group for half a day, three times per year to connect and network.
- continue to learn about how IT used on campus can be made more accessible.
- collect information from and spread the word within units about the UW’s IT Accessibility Policy and other resources on our Accessibility website and otherwise promote the IT Digital Accessibility Initiative.
Find future meeting information, past meeting agendas, PowerPoints, and other resources on the Digital Accessibility Liaison Resources page. Faculty and staff can request to join the Digital Accessibility Liaisons CoP. For more information, send a message to itaccessliaisons@uw.edu or contact Ana Thompson.
